Our matured Oil Palm Seedling Specification
Age – Our matured Oil palm seedlings are usually aged between 10 to 12 months.
Height and Size – Our matured seedlings are usually around 100 to 150 cm in height with a well-developed root system planted in 15” x 18” poly-bag.
Healthy Leaves – Our Seedlings should have healthy green leaves without any signs of discoloration, disease, or pest damage.
Root Health – The root system should be well-developed, fibrous, and free from diseases like root rot.
Genetic Purity – Seedlings should be true to type and genetically pure to ensure consistent yields and quality. Our seeds are purchased from certified seeds suppliers registered by Malaysia Palm Oil Board (MPOB). More information on our seed source are provided above.
Disease Resistance – Ideally, seedlings should be resistant to common diseases and pests that affect oil palm cultivation.
Hardiness – Seedlings should be adaptable to the local climate and soil conditions.
Uniformity – Seedlings should be uniform in size and appearance, indicating consistent growth conditions and proper nursery management.
